This image comes from a new and evolving series of work in my practice interested in leveraging various LLM image generators with my approach to color grading, image manipulation, and collage to envision a wild future for the city of Miami. In this wild future Miami is underwater, major avenue overgrown with coral and mutant plants growing to gigantic size, and the population has responded to it's emergent climate crisis with a chimeric hybridization. In this future, people have evolved and blended with coral, funghi, and native flora amorphously along a visibly queer ethos. This series then imagine the kind of transhumanist queer future we may bear witness to as our city is engulfed by change and uncertainty.
This image is sized 14" x 14" with a surrounding 1" border making the size of the total print being 15" x 15". They are printed in a satin finish on a nicely weighted paper so the colors are wonderfully saturated and overall has a luxurious feel and sensibility.
